Evan McAvenia is a Los Angeles-based designer, architectural historian, and estate sale expert. Upon earning her master’s in Heritage Conservation and Urban Planning from USC, Evan leveraged her deep knowledge of vintage furniture into a career in design and sourcing.
Evan has years of experience researching across design genres from mid-century furniture to porcelain. Her work in estate sales made her an expert at staging and sourcing secondhand treasures, while her conservation education informs her layered approach to design; the most interesting spaces aren’t built all at once, but are collected over time.

Design consultations: 1-hour, one-on-one creative consultation for meaningful art and design assistance. These sessions are great for multi-room layout questions, material finishes, art ideas, renovation guidance, or just a focused brainstorm. You can expect actionable recommendations for layout, sourcing, furniture, and styling. In-person meetings available (and highly recommended!)—travel time is billed at an hourly rate.
